Department of Orthopedics

The department of Orthopaedics deals with all diseases of bones, including trauma. We deal with a plethora of bone diseases ranging from congenital, metabolic & neoplastic disorders, degenerative and infective bone and joint diseases. Trauma, both fresh and neglected is an important and integral aspect dealt by us.

The department of Orthopaedics has one male & one female ward with thirty beds in each ward. There are two operating theatres with C-arm image intensifier in one theatre. Other specialized instruments are available as per the MCI requirement.

The activities like journal clubs, Clinical Case presentation, seminars and fracture clinics are regularly held.

The department has been organizing “CADAVERIC PELVI – ACETABULAR FRACTURE FIXATION” workshop for the last two years.
