Department of Microbiology
Department of Microbiology is fully equipped with all equipments as per MCI norms, including Gel
electrophoresis, MGIT (Automated system for rapid diagnosis of T B), PCR with GEL DOC and Flouroscent Microscope.
It has laboratories of Bacteriology, Parasitology, Mycology, Virology, T.B., Immunology, Serology and Research lab with all advance
facilities for diagnosis of different types of viral, aerobic and anaerobic bacterial, parasitic, fungal infections and immunological
disorders.
It has departmental library with latest published books and journals equipped with computer and Wi Fi. The department also
has museum consisting of models, specimens of different pathogenic organisms and lifecycle charts. Practical laboratories for students
are fully equipped with latest equipment as per MCI norms.
