The Department of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis as an allied department of medicine manages critical patients of Respiratory Diseases and Pulmonary Tuberculosis with well qualified specialist staff. Adequate facilities for investigations are available.

It has collaboration with state Tuberculosis control programme with RNTCP section attached to it for management of Tuberculosis cases along with a well equipped ward for indoor cases.

Adequate and well equipped teaching facilities are available with lecture theatre and demonstration room along with library facilities.
