The Department of Pediatrics is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate,
and evidence-based care to infants, children, and adolescents. With patient care
as our top priority, we strive to deliver the highest standards of clinical excellence
across all pediatric specialties.
Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Ward comprises 66 beds and is equipped to manage
a wide spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical conditions. The department also
houses a fully functional, Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Level
4 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), each with a capacity of 10 beds. These units
are staffed by highly skilled pediatric intensivists and neonatologists, supported
by a multidisciplinary team trained in critical care.
We provide round-the-clock emergency pediatric services, with full capabilities
for both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, advanced life support, and intensive
monitoring. The department is well-equipped to handle all forms of pediatric emergencies
and critical illnesses, ensuring timely interventions and continuous, specialized
care.
