The subject of Community Medicine is concerned with the promotion of health, prevention,
control & management of diseases or disabilities and other health problems in the
community. It is the branch of medicine that deals with community rather than individual
disease or infirmity, Community Medicine is taught from 1st Semester to 7th Semester
( in a 9 semester MBBS curriculum ).
The Department of Community Medicine at CIMS&H is well equipped to provide teaching
and training of the subject to both under graduates (including internship training
) and post graduate students.
Teaching facilities For pedagogy Lecture Halls and LCD facilities along with
AC environment is available.
Demonstration Room For teaching purposes a well equipped Demonstration Room
with transparency, projectors and black board has been provided with adequate seating
arrangements for the students.
